Adopted as an infant by the Former and First Emperor of Garlemald, Solus zos Galvus, Princess Maxima was raised as the Empire's first and only princess.Clearly beloved by her grandsire, it was all but accepted by many that she would be named heir despite her lower claim to the throne compared to those of her cousins, Varis and Zenos yae Galvus, and her uncle, Titus yae Galvus.Alas, history did not unfold thus, and the Princess was presumed dead during the civil war following the death of the Emperor.But dead she was not, and now that the Empire has fallen, Maxima is planning her eventual return to the throne, whether it be on the crumbling remnants of that which her grandsire once claimed, or by building a new one from the ashes.History would remember her, not as a footnote, but as a leading character.
